The Cleveland Cavaliers are off to one of the best starts in their history as they currently hold a 4-0 record.

Their unbeaten run sees them atop the Central Division but it seems that they are not done adding new players in the line-up. According to rumors, the Cavaliers are eyeing New York Knicks' point guard Derrick Rose as a possible addition to the team. He can be a capable back-up to Kyrie Irving.

Talks are circulating of Rose potentially ending up in Ohio. The Cavaliers are still not done with their roster as they try to strengthen the team to compete with their rivals later in the season.

At the moment, the Cavaliers look like the defending champions, but in the wear and tear of the campaign, they might need capable back-ups. Rose may be the perfect choice for Irving.

Rose is trying to rejuvenate his career with the Knicks after injuries slowed down his progression with the Chicago Bulls. At the moment, he is doing well despite the poor standing of the Knicks. Rose is slowly finding his groove back and may get his averages back if he stays healthy.

Initially, the Knicks were considered as a strong team because of the names in their roster. Joakim Noah, Courtney Lee, Carmelo Anthony and Kristaps Porzingis joining Rose looked like a strong squad heading into the season but it has not translated to wins.

Obviously, chemistry is still a question as Anthony and Porzingis are the only players who were in the Knicks last year.

If Rose can move to Cleveland, he might need less of a transition. He would play off the bench, meaning that chemistry may not be an issue. He may lead the second team which is also going to help him manage his minutes as he gets the most off his time on the floor.

These are speculations but it could be intriguing if it happens.
