'Narcos' season 3 spoilers: 'Sense8' actor joins series as one of Cali Cartel's assets
From one Netflix series to another, "Sense8" actor Miguel Ãngel Silvestre will go head to head with DEA agent Javier Pena (Pedro Pascal) and his new cop friends in "Narcos" season 3.
The actor teased his involvement in the series on Instagram, where he sported a cap that bears the title of the hit crime web drama. He kept the caption short and simple and left the fans to figure it out.
Hola Magazine confirmed his involvement in "Narcos" season 3, saying that he will play a role that will directly put him in the line of fire. The publication also said that he has been going in and out of Bogota, Colombia, where the show is being filmed.
He will play the role of the person responsible for laundering money for the Cali Cartel, the focus of the new season now that the Medellin Cartel by Colombian kingpin Pablo Escobar (Wagner Moura) is no more.
His role in the business appears to be major so it might take a while to get to him in "Narcos" season 3 especially if he is one who does his job right.
Silvestre did speak about his role in "Narcos" season 3 to ABC.es. Translated by E! Online, the actor said that his character is an "enigmatic person."
"It is not yet very well known how he is. He's had a love story that was bitter and also filled hatred," he went on to say, adding that he will have a Colombian accent for the role.
More information about his character should be revealed soon, but it looks like he will be dealing with Pena anytime soon. As fans know, Pascal will reprise his role in "Narcos" season 3.
In real life, however, the DEA agent no longer had anything to do with the clampdown on the Cali Cartel. The same goes for his partner, Steve Murphy, played in "Narcos" by Boyd Holbrook.
"Narcos" season 3 is currently in production and is expected to premiere in September.
