The quest to restore Fizbo's good image begins on the upcoming episode of ABC's hit sitcom "Modern Family" season 8.

Titled "Finding Fizbo," next week's episode will see Cam (Eric Stonestreet) go out of his way to teach a stranger a lesson. According to the official synopsis, Cam is infuriated when he receives a video online featuring an individual who has been disrespecting his Fizbo costume. The footage leads Cam to embark on a quest to bring back Fizbo's good name.

Meanwhile, Phil (Ty Burrell) attends Frank's (guest star Fred Willard) bachelor party where he finally meets his new soon-to-be step-brother. Manny (Rico Rodriguez) lets Gloria (Sofia Vergara), Claire (Julie Bowen), and Haley (Sarah Hyland) do a read through of his newest play before he submits his work to a young playwright festival. He later discovers that his story hits a little too close to home for the three ladies.

As fans know, Fizbo is Cam's clown alter-ego who has appeared in the series multiple times. During his teenage years, Cam developed an interest in clowns and decided to be one when he got older. He was mentored by Professor ringmaster Al Uzielli and later made up his own clown persona named Fizbo, an Auguste Clown. He was part of a popular clown duo named "Fizbo & Lewis," but when Cam met Mitchell (Jesse Tyler Ferguson), he decided to leave his clown career.

In other related news, "The Real Housewives of New York" star Bethenny Frankel recently visited the set of "Modern Family." Frankel dropped by on Friday afternoon and took to Instagram to share a photo of herself with Stonestreet. "It's national bring your housewife to work day," the Bravo personality wrote in the caption. Stonestreet and Frankel became the subject of dating rumors back in 2015, but the latter said in a previous interview that they are just friends.

The eighth season of "Modern Family" airs every Wednesday night at 9 p.m. ET on ABC.
