'Mistresses' season 4 release date, plot spoilers: Joss and Harry up to tough times? Karen's baby daddy to make a comeback?
While all other Monday night series are taking a week-long hiatus in celebration of the Fourth of July, it looks like "Mistresses" season 4 would take things a notch higher with another intriguing, steamy episode.
Carter Matt noted that the fifth episode in the current season titled "Lean In" would see much relationship drama unfold among the main characters. For one, Karen's (Yunjin Kim) agent Barbara Rutledge (Tia Mowry-Hardrict) would not think twice about hiding her disappointment with her new book proposals. Meanwhile, April (Rochelle Aytes) would lie to Marc (Rob Mayes) and tell him she was fired instead of admitting that Michael (Ian Harvie) took advantage of her by kissing her.
As for Joss (Jes Macallan) and Harry (Brett Tucker), it looks like they will have a hard time balancing their new working relationship now that Joss is his publicist, all while she continues to struggle with her post-traumatic stress disorder from her horrific experience last year.
Meanwhile, Hollywood Hills said that in the same episode, things would start going downhill after Karen tries to defend herself during her shock jock interview. Moreover, April will discover the truth about Michael.
In other related news, it looks like Karen's baby daddy, Alec (Ed Quinn), will be making a surprising comeback on episode 6. The problem is, it's unclear whether he's staying for good, or at least until the remainder of the season, or would make a disappearing act once again.
"Alec makes a surprise visit and turns Karen's life upside down when he reveals something new in his life. April and Marc butt heads when it comes to parenting Lucy, putting a strain on their relationship. Kate discovers her new love interest has close ties to Joss and Harry. Joss and Harry get invited to Las Vegas by Harry's new business partner, Jonathan, and Joss snaps unexpectedly just before they are to be married," so says episode 6's synopsis.
"Mistresses" season 4 episode 5 will air on Monday, July 4, at 9 p.m. CT on ABC.
