In a recent report, it was revealed that Microsoft will be releasing the Xbox One S Minecraft Bundle, which will feature a 500 GB gaming console, the "Minecraft: Xbox One Edition," and over 230 character skins.

Xbox Wire reports that the bundle is currently available to consumers from US and Canada for $300 USD. By Oct. 11, the bundle will be made available in Europe while the same will be released in Australia and New Zealand on Nov. 1. Unfortunately, no release date has been set for the Asian and Latin American markets.

According to IGN, the bundle will include a 500 GB Xbox One S gaming console, a wireless controller, a digital download code for "Minecraft: Xbox One Edition Favorites Pack" (base game plus seven content packs), three texture packs, a 14-day Xbox Live Gold trial, a digital download code for the Builder's Pack (6 content packs), and a beta code for "Minecraft: Windows 10 Edition." Those are in addition to the 230 character skins.

Microsoft is optimistic about the bundle, describing it as a perfect one to upgrade to Xbox One S.

"If you play 'Minecraft: Xbox 360 Editions', this is the perfect bundle to make the upgrade to Xbox One S. You can transfer your existing Xbox 360 worlds over to the Xbox One Edition, and enjoy building new ones that are up to 16 times bigger," VG24/7 quotes Microsoft as saying.

"We've included over 230 character skins, 3 texture packs and 7 Mash-up packs alongside the Minecraft: Xbox One Edition game so you can let your survival and creative skills run wild," says senior product marketing manager for "Minecraft," Jaime Limon.

In other related news, the "Minecraft" movie will reportedly be hitting theatres on May 24, 2019. "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia" co-creator and star Rob McElhenney will be helming the movie.
