A lot will be revealed during Microsoft's Windows 10 event in New York this Oct.  26. However, spectators might not be able to witness the anticipated release of the Surface Pro 5 at the said event.

Surface Pro 4 received positive reviews from its hardware to its software to its overall excellent performance. Hence, it's no surprise that tech enthusiasts are anticipating the release of its fifth generation, the Surface Pro 5.

Like any other new technology slated to come out in the market, the Surface Pro 5 has stirred up several rumors. Many people are more interested on how the fifth generation would appear and work.

Rumor has it that the Surface Pen that comes with the tablet will have a rechargeable battery that can be charged wirelessly. However, the pen must be magnetically attached to the device for this to work.

Its predecessor is also magnetically attached to the tablet, however, it uses an AAAA battery that must be replaced from time to time. Compared to Pro 4's USB 3.0 port, the Pro 5 might also start featuring USB type C ports which also serve as charging port.

Another anticipated feature is the latest Intel processor. However, with several rumors afloat, it's still not unclear whether the Pro 5 will come with the sixth-generation Skylake chip or the next generation chip called Kaby Lake.

The Pro 5 is also rumored to feature a 2k and a 4k model with an improved RAM capacity of 16 GB. The camera, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth modules will likely to have the latest upgrades available.

Tech Times revealed that the event on Oct. 26 will focus more on the developments of Windows 10 and Xbox. Hence, there's a possibility that the Pro 5 will not be introduced during the event. iTech Post suggested that although the Pro 5 may not be revealed this year, it will be a spectacular device that will compete against other devices in 2017.
