The Microsoft Surface Book 2 is set to rectify some of the design choices that users believe that the Redmond-based tech company can execute much better.

One of the things about the current version of the laptop that is often to be source of complaints is the complicated process of detaching the screen from the keyboard.

This task relies on the software rather than the hardware, which means that a glitch in the operating system of the Microsoft Surface Book could make the process undoable.

Additionally, the Microsoft Surface Book always has to be powered on when detaching the screen as users will need to push a button for the device to unhinge the screen itself.

TechRadar believes that the Microsoft Surface Book 2 could do much better with a new technology that will not make unfastening the display from the keyboard a lesser hassle (if not at all) than it should be.

In addition, the Microsoft Surface Book 2 is expected to boast a 4K resolution display, which will be made possible primarily through the Kaby Lake processor.

The next-generation Intel chipset is rumored to power up the upcoming Microsoft laptop and its benefits stretch more than just 4K display support.

It will also endow the Microsoft Surface Book 2 an improved battery life and an overall superior power and performance in comparison with the Skylake, which is the processor that powers up the first Surface Book and the recently launched Surface Book i7.

Meanwhile, it is being rumored that the laptop will make the most of the Redstone 2 update coming to the Windows 10 operating system spring next year.

This means that it will wait for the arrival of the update so it might come a little later than the general expectation, which is early 2017.

Microsoft is unlikely going to make users wait for another year for the Microsoft Surface Book 2 especially with the Kaby Lake all around by that time. This suggests that the laptop could be out within the initial months of 2017.
