Mentalist Season 7 Spoilers: Emily Swallow to Leave the Show? Season 7 to be the Final Season?
Ever since The Mentalist was renewed for another season last May 10, 2014, fans have been looking for any hint and spoilers as to what is in store for the show in Season 7.
Slated for January 2015, reports abound that Emily Swallow, who plays the role of Agent Kim Fischer, will no longer be returning for the seventh season. However, a new cast named Michelle Vega will be joining the show.
The first eight out of the 13 episodes of Season 7 will be entitled Nothing But Blue Skies, The Graybar Hotel, Orange Blossom Ice Cream, Pink Rocks, Silver Briefcase, Little Yellow House and The White of His Eyes, with the sixth episode marked with "TBA" (to be announced).
In some of his Tweets, Tim Kang (who plays Kimball Cho) teased that the seventh season may be the last for the show. His first tweet read, "Trust me. This last season will be awesome. @RockmondDunbar, @JpAdler, and @josloren rock! Fantastic actors!!"
In another tweet, he added, "I'll do my best to document this last season."
Rumor also has it that Simon Baker, who plays Patrick Jane, will direct a few episodes for Season 7. Whether the rumors are true, we still need to wait for an official statement from the production team.
