With two big events coming up, fans of "Madam Secretary" will have to wait a while for the next episodes of the political drama series to air. And when they do, hopefully, it will be with answers to the burning questions left by the previous episode.

CarterMatt.com reported that a new episode of "Madam Secretary" will not be airing until Sunday, Feb. 26, owing to two upcoming major events, one of which will even preempt the show's regular timeslot. Since the Super Bowl is airing on FOX on Feb. 5, CBS seems to have decided not to waste an episode of the show in a competition with a foregone conclusion.

On Feb. 12, the network itself is scheduled to air The Grammy's, which effectively pushes "Madam Secretary" season 3 episode 14 to a much later date.

Feb. 26 seems like the perfect time to air the upcoming episode titled "Labor of Love." Unfortunately, CBS has yet to release significant details about the episode, but avid fans of the series have a few ideas about what's coming next based on where the previous episode left off.

A source speculated that Elizabeth (Téa Leoni) will be concerned for her policy advisor Jay (Sebastian Arcelus), who is currently torn between his doing a good job and trying to find time for his family. Will this dilemma eventually lead Jay to choose one or the other? If he does make that decision, how will it affect his career and family life?

Elizabeth may help ease Jay's burden up by authorizing some time off for her dutiful policy advisor to make up some grounds on his daddy duties. She needs Jay in her team, and she wouldn't allow him to resign, should the situation eventually turn to that.

There is also Elizabeth's current nomination for a Nobel Peace Prize after she and her team secured the peace treaty between Iran and Israel. Will she win the award?

"Madam Secretary" season 3 episode 14 airs on Sunday, Feb. 26, at 9 p.m. EST on CBS.
