LG V20 S releae date, news, and rumors: V20 S similar to the LG Isai Beat?
Though LG just revealed the LG V20, there are already rumors going around that the company is planning to release a smaller version of the device dubbed the LG V20 S.
According to reports, the device will be released shortly after its predecessor, and it's possible that it could be finding its way to the European market in the following months. It has also been said that European consumers are in search of smaller, more compact devices, so the V20 S could do very well if it's released there.
LG really seems to be focusing on its release of a device in Europe, since other reports have also said the the company also filed for a trademark in Germany for the "LG V20 S."
Some are speculating that this version of the V20 will be a somewhat "watered down" variant. Another one of LG's flagship phones, the G5, came out with an SE version not long ago, and that version was said to have less features. Perhaps the V20 S will do the same and be a smaller phone with toned down features for the V20.
The same source also says that the V20 S may have already come out in the market under a different name, the LG Isai Beat. The Beat was released in Japan back in October, and it is considered to be a smaller version of the V20.
If this turns out to be true, then the V20 S can be expected to have the same specs as the Isai Beat like a 5.2-inch screen with Quad HD resolution, a Snapdragon 820 processor, 64 GB internal storage, and 4 GB of RAM.
The device is also set to come with a pre-installed version of Android's latest OS, the Android 7.0 Nougat.
No official announcement of the device's release has been confirmed, but if the V20 S is similar to the Isai Beat, it's possible that it could be released within the year.
