With only four episodes left in its freshman season, CBS' buddy cop series "Lethal Weapon" will finally be introducing the TV incarnation of fan favorite character Leo Getz through guest star Thomas Lennon.

In the upcoming episode, aptly titled "As Good As It Getz," LAPD's troublesome duo, Riggs (Clayne Crawford) and Murtaugh (Damon Wayans), will once again be forced to work with DEA agent Palmer (Hilarie Burton) as they get entangled, yet again, with the drug cartel. But Getz, the ambulance-chasing attorney they will be tasked to protect, may not be the only one being targeted by the Cartel.

Does this mean that Riggs' previous involvement with the Cartel will be putting his life in danger once again? Or has Palmer herself stirred up too much trouble that the bad guys have decided to get rid of her once and for all?

The trailer for the next episode further reveals that Getz is actually the key witness to a murder, and he is, apparently, one loose end that the bad guys will keep gunning down until he, too, is dead. It also seems that TV Getz has inherited the overwhelmingly crazy personality of movie Getz, who was famously played by Joe Pesci.

Getz may not yet be confirmed for appearances beyond the upcoming episode, but CarterMatt.com speculated that, given the importance of the character in the movies, and provided the show gets renewed for a second season, Lennon may return to reprise the iconic role in future episodes. In the movie, Getz stayed until the very last installment and ended up forging a deep bond with Riggs and Murtaugh.

Other things to look forward to in episode 15 are Riggs and Palmer's professional dynamics possibly progressing to something more and Murtaugh getting anxious over his wife Trish's (Keesha Sharp) sudden spontaneity.

The next episode of "Lethal Weapon" airs on Wednesday, Feb. 15, at 8 p.m. EST on FOX.
