Lady Gaga and Taylor Kinney Wedding News: Engagement for Gaga and Boyfriend Taylor Kinney

Lady Gaga has just confirmed her engagement to her long-time boyfriend Taylor Kinney. In an Instagram post, the singer shared a black and white photo showing his hands holding hers flaunting a huge, heart-shaped diamond ring that Kinney gave her on Valentine's Day.

"He gave his heart on Valentine's Day and I said YES!" Lady gaga captioned the photo, according to Billboard.

In 2011, Lady Gaga met Kinney on the set of her music video "You & I," which was shot in Nebraska.

The edgy singer wore her mother's actual wedding gown in some scenes of the racy video, which starred Chicago Fire hunk Kinney as the object of her affection.

The couple started dating several months later before taking a short break from each other in May 2012. They got back together the following month.

In a recent interview with Howard Stern, Gaga admitted that she would marry Kinney if he proposed, saying, "He is the right guy."

"How do we know? It's this feeling," she added.

Meanwhile, Kinney spoke fondly about the songstress to Us Weekly in April 2014, saying she pushes him to be better.

"[She] is someone who's always in your corner, that believes in you and your work, and vice versa," the "Other Woman" actor said, according to Us Weekly.

"You know, I love what she does and her work and music and charity. She inspires so many people including myself," he added.

The singer, who was born Stefani Germanotta, has been dating the 33-year-old actor for about four years now, according to People magazine.

Lady Gaga, whose first hits include "Poker Face" and "Bad Romance," recently won a Grammy Award for her album "Cheek to Cheek" with veteran singer Tony Bennett.

Despite Gaga's flamboyant style, she and Kinney have kept their relationship private, telling Howard Stern that they are "very protective" of their romance in a 2013 interview.

"We treat each other with a lot of care, and we're good to one another," she said, according to CNN.

There is no word yet on what the eclectic fashionista will wear on her big day.
