Kate Middleton Pregnant: Twins for the Royal Family?
Kate Middleton's pregnancy was kept a secret until the couple finally decided to tell their family just very recently, according to US Magazine.
The official statement of the palace released early this month read, "Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are very pleased to announce that The Duchess of Cambridge is expecting their second child. The Queen and members of both families are delighted with the news."
Prince William, as expected, is delighted about the news: "We're mostly thrilled, it's great news, early days but I'm hoping that things settle down, she feels a bit better," he said in an interview while at Oxford University.
David Cameron, British Prime Minister, also said on his Twitter, "Many congratulations to the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge. I'm delighted by the happy news that they're expecting another baby."
The Duchess is reportedly having a little difficulty dealing with the pregnancy. Acute morning sickness is preventing her from attending important events such as the Invictus Opening Ceremony that she originally planned to attend.
She reportedly also missed a visit to Oxford because of the same reason.
During Kate's first pregnancy, she was also confined in the hospital due to her severe morning sickness.
Recently there have been rumors circulating that Kate Middleton may be expecting twins; if she is indeed carrying twins, it could be more difficult this time around, as some say it could aggravate her morning sickness even more.
The gender of the baby (or babies?) has not been confirmed. Neither are the reports that Middleton is carrying twins.
