Jennifer Lawrence Seen Together with Chris Martin, Gwyneth Paltrow's Ex
"The Hunger Games" and "X-Men" star Jennifer Lawrence and Coldplay frontman Chris Martin have been seen together in New York City apparently during a date at the restaurant Tavern on the Green.
Lawrence feasted on a roast beef sandwich while Martin had some eggs benedict before the couple went out for a stroll in Central Park, E! News reported on Monday
"They talked quietly and seemed very happy," the unnamed E! News' source said.
"After lunch, she was overheard saying she wanted to walk through Strawberry Fields," the source said. "She went back to her SUV and got a heavier sweater and changed into more comfortable shoes."
The usually low-key couple made a surprising move as Lawrence asked for a center table because "she wanted to face the park." Soon, fans attempted to take pictures of the couple until a bodyguard stopped them. The two went back to Carlyle Hotel where they remained incognito.
The two reunited on Easter Sunday when they rode a private jet from New Jersey's Teterboro airport at around 2 p.m. bound for Boston.
Despite her busy schedule filming her next movie "Joy" in Boston, the in-demand Lawrence and Martin "communicate daily," the E! News' source alleged.
"They see each other when they can, yet each continues to do their own thing," said the source who was said to be close to Martin. "Both have full plates, and they like it that way."
Meanwhile, Martin's ex-wife, Hollywood actress Gwyneth Paltrow, spent her Easter Sunday buying pet bunnies for her children with Martin. She posted a picture of their new pets on Instagram with the caption: "New additions to the family! #thesmilesaysitall #happyeaster."
Despite the collapse of their marriage, Martin and Paltrow remained close since their "consciously uncoupling." The two even had a spring break vacation last week with their children, Apple and Moses.
Martin also spent Valentine's Day with his family in Malibu, although a source told E! News that it "was nothing romantic from what it seemed."
Paltrow was quoted by E! News as telling SiriusXM that she and her ex-husband "actually have a really strong friendship."
"We have kids, we're always going to be a family," she reportedly said. "We laugh and we have fun, but there are times when it's really difficult. Things happen and you're like, 'I'm sure he doesn't want to hang out with me and I don't want to hang out with him,' but for the sake of the kids, you do it...You say, 'I really want to find the love for you and I want to forgive you and I want you to forgive me and let's have some fun as a family.'"
