iPhone 8 specs, features, release date: Smartphone to feature bezel-less design and wireless charging
The upcoming iPhone 8 is said to be the most anticipated smartphone to be released next year, on the 10th anniversary of Apple's smartphone line. Rumor has it that the Cupertino tech giant's next-generation iPhone is expected to bring technological history into a whole new level, with a bezel-less design and wireless charging.
Although the iPhone 7 has just been released, numerous intriguing rumors have been escalating about the upcoming iPhone 8.
The new iPhone 8 is said to come in two variants — the 5-inch iPhone 8 and the 5.8-inch iPhone 8 Plus — which will both feature characteristics entirely different from the usual smartphones, such as a bezel-less design. Many are expecting that the bezel-less architecture of the upcoming iPhone 8 is going to revolutionize the way smartphones are made as there have not been any successful models that provide such engineering today.
On top of that, reports say that the new iPhone 8 will provid, not just a whole new look, but a new experience. One of the most anticipated features of the iPhone 8 is wireless charging. There has not been any specific description about this feature, but just recently there are speculations that the new iPhone 8 might be able to charge wirelessly up to 15 feet. Adding icing on the cake, the iPhone 8 is rumored to feature a glass back together with an OLED screen and an upgraded camera. With regards to its OS power capacity, it is speculated that the iPhone 8 will likely run on iOS 11 as an upgrade of the iOS 10. It is also expected that Apple will use quad-core plus an A11 Fusion chip.
The price of the iPhone 8 is not certain at the moment, but it is expected to cost around $649.
