The iPhone 7 was met with warm reviews from tech users but fans are now eagerly anticipating the release of the iPhone 8 which is expected to come next year. High expectations are riding on this phone as 2017 will also mark the 10th anniversary of Apple's flagship smartphone.

According to reports, the iPhone 8 will be deviating from the usual designs that have been prevalent with the rest of the phones in its series. The phone will come with an all-glass casing and a revamped display with a larger screen-to-body ratio.

Apple is also rumored to get rid of the home button for the iPhone 8 so that it will have more room for the display. The device is also said to come with a Touch ID scanner in the display glass itself, making it one high-tech phone.

Other reports are saying that the next iPhone will also incorporate some of the latest advancements in smartphone technology like wireless charging and an A11 chipset. The iPhone 8 is also expected to come with 4 GB of RAM as well as an internal storage of 256 GB.

The iPhone 8 may come in three variations, with the iPhone SE refresh being replaced with a 4-inch version of the iPhone 8.

Some fans have been wondering about the status of the iPhone 7S and iPhone SE. Rumors have suggested that Apple is simply focusing too much on the iPhone 8 that the other versions will just simply have to wait, or they will be skipped altogether.

As of now, Apple has not released any official statement for the iPhone 8, so fans should take the specs and reports as pure speculation. Apple's highly anticipated iPhone 8 is expected to come out sometime in 2017. Stay tuned for more updates.
