iPhone 7 for $0 top deals on Verizon, Sprint, T-Mobile, AT&T networks
Apple has finally unveiled the highly anticipated iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus, and major carriers have also announced their promotional deals for consumers who do not wish to pay the full $649 base price.
Preorders are scheduled to begin in the U.S. on Friday, Sept. 9, at 12:01 a.m. PDT, and according to CNET preordering directly through a particular carrier instead of the Apple Store will provide customers with promising incentives to purchase the new iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus at a much lower cost.
AT&T offers consumers an option to use either their AT&T Next or AT&T Next Every Year in purchasing a new iPhone. With AT&T Next, the total cost will be spread out over a 30-month period, with an additional option to trade in or upgrade the phone when 80 percent of the price has been paid. The deal with the AT&T Next Every Year is the same, except that it spreads the total cost over a 24-month period, and an upgrade and trade-in can be done at the 50 percent mark. More details about this deal can be found on the AT&T's official iPhone page.
T-Mobile offers a free iPhone 7 with 32 GB storage space for trade-ins of either the iPhone 6 or iPhone 6S from both new and existing customers. The same deal cuts the price of the larger iPhone 7 Plus down to $120. If the consumer wants bigger storage space, one will have to pay the difference in price between the 32 GB model and the more expensive model. The trade-in phones should be in perfect working order without any form of internal or external damage. Additionally, if the consumer wishes to leave T-Mobile at any time in the subsequent two years, one will be required to either return the phone or pay a part of the original price. The Jump! On Demand, which allows people to upgrade their phones three times within a 12-month period, is also applicable to the new iPhones. Preorders can be made at T-Mobile's official iPhone page.
Sprint's deal is similar to T-Mobile's in terms of trading in an iPhone 6 or an iPhone 6S. Additionally, consumers can also trade in a Samsung Galaxy S7 or a Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge for a free iPhone 7 with 32-GB storage space. The consumer will be required to sign up for one of Sprint's plans, like Unlimited Freedom. Sprint is also offering an online-only offer of a 256 GB iPhone7 at $100 off its original retail value. Ordering the new iPhone can also be made through the iPhone Forever program. One can pay as little as $1 monthly along with an eligible trade-in. Preorders can be placed on Sprint's official iPhone page.
The largest mobile phone carrier, Verizon Communications, has yet to release an official deal on the new iPhone, although its standard trade-in program still applies. Consumers can trade in their current phone for a maximum value of $300, which will then be subtracted from the full retail price of the chosen iPhone model. Other deals can be found on Verizon's official iPhone page.
