Apple now gives users not just one, not just two, but six iPad versions of the iPad Air 2 and the iPad Mini 3.

We could just safely say that the better option is the iPad Air 2 with 128 GB capacity + Wi-Fi + Cellular, but this is not actually the case. There are different factors to consider and the ultimate decision as to which iPad to use depends on how you plan to use the tablet.

If you intend to use the iPad mostly for reading books and surfing the Internet, you will benefit more from the smaller sized iPad because you can carry it anywhere you go. If you will be using the iPad for business-related tasks such as documents, calendars and spreadsheets, you may benefit from a bigger iPad. If you plan to use the device mostly for gaming and other creative work that benefits from a bigger screen, then the iPad 2 is the better choice.

It's not just the size that users need to consider. If you think you're happy with your current smartphone, then there's really no need to get the version with a cellular capability as it will cost you more than a hundred dollars for any version of the iPad Air 2 or the iPad Mini 3.

The iPad Air 2 is available in two lines—a Wi-Fi line and a Wi-Fi + Cellular Line. Both lines are available in 16GB ($499 for Wi-Fi and $629 for Wi-Fi + Cellular), 64GB ($599 for Wi-Fi and $729 for Wi-Fi + Cellular) and 128GB ($699 for Wi-Fi and $829 for Wi-Fi + Cellular).

The iPad Mini 3 also come in Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi + Cellular Versions. There's the 16GB version ($399 for Wi-Fi and $529 for Wi-Fi + Cellular), 64GB version ($499 for Wi-Fi and $529 for Wi-Fi + Cellular), 64GB version ($499 for Wi-Fi and $629 for Wi-Fi + Cellular) and 128GB version ($599 for Wi-Fi and $729 for Wi-Fi + Cellular).
