Since Apple has just recently released the iOS 10.2 to the public, the pressure may be on for jailbreak developers to come up with a new software exploit for the latest update on Apple's newest operating system.

iOS 10 has been out for a while now, and yet no complete jailbreak program has been released to counter its software restrictions. Although it has previously been rumored that well-known Chinese programming team, Pangu, will be releasing their much-awaited iOS 10 Jailbreak after iOS 10.2 was released, the said programming team has yet to address the matter.

According to Jailbreak & Hacks, the fact that iOS 10.2 went into beta while Pangu was still working on their iOS 10 utility may have caused the programming team to decide to wait it out before releasing anything.

However, other reports are saying that Apple's latest iOS now comes with much tighter security features and has also patched up loopholes that could lend themselves to jailbreaking. This has led to speculations that any possibility of an iOS 10 Jailbreak release is now gone.

It may be for this reason that iOS hacker Luca Todesco has advised his Twitter followers not to update to iOS 10.2 and to just stick to iOS 10.1.1. The latest Apple operating system, apparently, kills many bugs and has put up much stronger security against jailbreaking attempts.

The public has also been warned to be cautious of fake iOS 10 Jailbreak tools being offered by some shady sites that are only after the user's credit card information, according to a report by Gotta Be Mobile.

The iOS 10.2 Beta 7 comes with a new TV app, over 100 new emojis, additional camera settings, improved battery life and so much more. iOS users may be faced with a tough decision to give up on iOS 10.1.1, and in effect giving up on a possible jailbreak tool in the future, in order to enjoy the brand-new features on the more secure iOS 10.2.

There is, currently, radio silence in the jailbreaking world and not much is known about whether or not an iOS 10 Jailbreak is in the works. iOS users are advised to watch out for updates regarding this matter from the jailbreak developers themselves.
