iOS 10 jailbreak release date: Pangu software in trouble?
The wait iOS 10 jailbreak from the developers over at Pangu continues as Apple doubles down on the software updates. The Cupertino-based tech giant has just pushed out the iOS 10.1 update.
It is speculated that the iOS 10 jailbreak should be here sooner rather than later as Apple has just come out with the iOS 10.1 software update.
Previous reports have it that the China-based developer team waited for Apple to come out with the first major update for the software before they come out with the iOS 10 jailbreak.
This is reportedly for Pangu to take into account all the security patches released in the base software and the minor updates released last month in making a more effective iOS 10 jailbreak.
Time is of the essence for Pangu as Apple moves quickly not only in releasing new software, which they now make sure to always come with a jailbreak-killing patch but because they also stop signing even some of the software versions.
Fans who would want to benefit of Pangu's iOS 10 jailbreak, if it will see the light of day that is, must make sure not to update their device to the iOS 10.
Users will no longer be able to downgrade to the iOS 9, which is the only way for them to use the iOS 10 jailbreak. With all that said, jailbreak users will just have to wait for Pangu.
However, the team's silence is adding to the suspense but also to the frustration of many who have been waiting for their project to come to fruition.
Many are now under the impression that Apple has successfully stopped jailbreaking, but some are just not ready to give up yet, especially with developer Lucas Todesco showing that it is possible.
Fans hope that Pangu will at least keep them up to spend on the iOS 10 jailbreak, but it appears that secrecy is paramount to making this project work. If the software is coming, fans should hear about it soon.
