iOS 10 jailbreak release date latest news update: Pangu prepping for software's release?
The wait for the iOS 10 jailbreak by Chinese jailbreak development team Pangu continues as Apple rolls out its latest software update, the iOS 10.2.
Pangu remains silent about the jailbreak tool that fans have been waiting to see since they introduced it at the Mobile Security Conference (MOSEC) back in July.
That time, however, the hacker group was only able to jailbreak the first beta version of the iOS 10 back when it was still being worked on by Apple.
The company has of course released the final version of the iOS 10 and the software updates that followed were equipped with tweaks that eliminate the jailbreak tools installed on the iOS device being updated.
The recently released iOS 10.2 was deemed the best iOS 10 update from Apple. It was reported that Pangu was only waiting for its release before they come out with the iOS 10 jailbreak.
Now that the software is out, the time is ticking for Pangu to release its software — that is if the reports are to be believed about its plans.
Some are losing hope that that the iOS 10 jailbreak will be released, or will be out in time for majority of users to be able to make use of it.
This was the case with the iOS 9.1 jailbreak, which Pangu rolled out around the time that many were moving to iOS 9.3 and Apple is no longer allowing users to downgrade.
Many are afraid that the iOS 10 jailbreak will come out too late that only a few users will be able to benefit from it. This is why many are hoping Pangu will work on finding exploits on the iOS 10.2 jailbreak instead.
That would then still take up time and extra waiting for users. That being said, it looks like fans will just simply have to wait and see what Pangu has in store.
