Whenever Apple puts out a new iOS update, there's always a small and daring group of hackers working around the clock to breach the tech giant's security features. Jailbreaking the operating system of Apple's smartphone and tablets allows users to take full control of the software. It also enables users to install every UI tweak and additional features they could possibly think of.

However, over the years, jailbreaking has become less prominent, and it is now more of a niche activity. Nevertheless, there are still several hackers actively designing their jailbreaking programs to cater to the remaining Apple users in the jailbreaking community. In fact, hacker Luca Todesco has recently released the Yalu Jailbreak, a semi-stable iOS 10 jailbreak that works up to iOS 10.2 on most Apple devices.

A complete video guide on how to install the iOS 10.2 jailbreak program is available online. The procedure to install the jailbreak app in Apple devices requires a little bit of technical proficiency such that users must know how to operate developer tools.

Basically, those who want to install Todesco's Yalu Jailbreak for the iOS 10.2 must download several files on their computer (which can be found here). Users must then connect their Apple device to their computer, use iTunes to install the jailbreak up, and then run the Yalu app, which will appear on their devices to complete the jailbreak.

Because the Yalu Jailbreak is "semi-stable," users are warned that they will most likely need to deal with bugs and glitches if they install the program on their devices.

As reported by BGR, for those who are willing to take the risk of voiding their iPhone's warranty and potentially causing irreversible damage to their devices, there are many apps and tweaks that users can stand to benefit and enjoy from jailbreaking.

Those who use the current iOS 10.2 jailbreak program from Todesco will be able to download jailbreak tweaks and apps such as No Slow Animations, CCLowPower, Touchr, PowerDown, App Admin, Phantom (Lite), and iCleaner Pro, among many others.
