Fans will surely get an early Christmas treat as the long-awaited finale of the Hunger Games saga will finally be shown in theaters later this year.

"The Hunger Games: Mockingjay- Part 2," directed by Francis Lawrence and starring Jennifer Lawrence as Katniss Everdeen, and Josh Hutcherson as Peeta Mellark, will be shown in theaters on Nov. 20.

Online ticketing firm Fandango's placed "Mockingjay- Part 2" as one of 2015's top anticipated movies through a poll, alongside "Star Wars: The Force Awakens," "Avengers: Age of Ultron," "Fifty Shades of Grey," and "Jurassic World."

Fandango's survey of over 1,000 respondents also showed the dystopian film's lead actress as the top female actor that moviegoers want to see for the second straight year.

Last year, "Mockingjay-Part 1" topped the polls for anticipated flicks. Released last November, the film is expected to surpass Marvel's "Guardians of the Galaxy" as last year's highest grossing domestic box office movie.

"Mockingjay-Part 1," according to Indie Wire, is only $10 million shy of surpassing the domestic box office take of the "Guardians of the Galaxy," which earned more than $300 million after staying in theaters for 22 weeks. Comicbook.com wrote that the third Hunger Games movie will eventually beat "Guardians of the Galaxy" in the next few weeks.

"Mockingjay," however, is not expected to even reach the worldwide earnings of "Catching Fire," which grossed $864 million in 2013. "Perhaps this is the minor cautionary tale for film finales split in two, but given that another film arrives in 2015, it's all gravy for the studio," Indie Wire said.

Comicbook.com described "Mockingjay" as a success which, together with "X-Men: Days of Future Past," catapulted Jennifer Lawrence into the top spot as the highest grossing actress last year, raking $1.4 billion at the box office.
