Wes (Alfred Enoch) isn't completely out of the picture as "How to Get Away With Murder" will have more flashbacks of him in its upcoming fourth season. Meanwhile, the conspiracy behind Wes' murder connects a complicated and unexpected web of people.

"How to Get Away With Murder" is expected to return sometime this year with its fourth season. Even though Wes was killed mid-season 3, executive producer Pete Nowalk confirms that there will still be flashbacks of him in the new season.

"I think we will see him when it's appropriate — I hope — like we do with Sam when it feels appropriate," the EP shared with Variety.

The showrunner added that there are still a lot of questions to be answered regarding Wes. "What does Laurel's dad know about Wes? Who was Wes calling when he said, 'This is Christophe?' That is a big question that could come back and bubble up in the next season," Nowalk went on to say.

Nowalk explained that they didn't have enough time to reveal the mystery behind who Wes was talking to when he said that he was Christophe in season 3. But season 4 will definitely cover this storyline, which is something Nowalk is excited about.

Meanwhile, "How to Get Away With Murder" season 4 will reveal the conspiracy behind Wes' murder and the surprising set of people in its complicated web.

According to Karla Souza, who portrays Laurel on the show, it's time to reveal to the audience who else other than Dominick (Nicholas Gonzalez) was involved in the conspiracy.

"We've hinted at things, but I think we now need to really tell the audience what's really going on. How does Dominic know D.A. Denver (Benito Martinez)? Does that mean Laurel's father knows D.A. Denver? Is it possible that they know about the Mahoneys? It's much more complicated than anyone realized," Souza said to The Hollywood Reporter.

"How to Get Away With Murder" season 4 is expected to premiere later this year.
