Hemlock Grove Renewed or Canceled? Season 3 Release Looks to Be a No Go

Hemlock Grove, an original Netflix TV series, is on the verge of being canceled. Fans had hoped that the show would get renewed for a Season 3, but at present, all talk is about Hemlock Grove being canceled after its recent Season 2.

According to rumors, the producers of the T.V show might cancel the show due to its poor ratings and reviews. On Netflix, it is only rated 3.9 out of 5 stars and compared to other better shows like "House of Cards" and "Orange is the New Black" the show has, to a large part, been overlooked.

Hemlock Grove did manage to gather a small core of viewers, but unfortunately for the series, even with its unique take on the horror genre, it appears it has not gotten enough love from enough viewers. Other critics have also argued that the show lacked some of the stand out features of some of Netflix's other top shows.

On Metacritic, the show only got a 44 out of 100 or 2 stars out of a 5 rating.

Still, the online show provider hasn't made any official statement for what's going to happen with the series, and so things are still up in the air somewhat about whether is to be canceled or not. However, Cindy Holland of Netflix did say that cancelations of shows are only generally carried out when a specific program doesn't get enough viewing hours from subscribers.
