'Hawaii Five-0' season 7 episode 15 spoilers: Steve and crew hunt for monsters in upcoming episodes
A murder case leads Steve (Alex O'Loughlin) and his team through a string of discoveries that seem to build on each other in the next episode of "Hawaii Five-0."
The episode titled "Ka pa'ani nui (Big Game)" sends Five-0 on a hunt for the killer of an animal hunter with a special preference for exotic game. The trailer for the episode shows the hunter becoming prey to someone with a score to settle. When his body turns up hanging head-side down on a pole, Grover (Chi McBride) deduces that whoever wants this guy dead isn't just after his life.
"They're trying to make a statement," Grover tells his colleague Kono (Grace Park).
What could possibly be the reason for an exotic animal hunter's death, and who would go through the trouble of coming to Hawaii to settle a long-standing score?
The official synopsis for the upcoming episode provides more details that may or may not be directly related to the aforementioned case. Based on the synopsis, it seems that the victim could've been involved in the illegal practice of shark finning. If this is so, then what kind of statement is the killer trying to impart? Could he be settling a personal score or simply putting justice into his own hands?
The case further leads to the discovery of a former Nazi war criminal potentially hiding out in a leprosy colony. Is there a connection between the death of the hunter and the former war criminal? Is this discovery just a mere coincidence? Could there really be a former Nazi hiding out on an island in Hawaii? If so, will Five-0 be able to find him at the risk of their own well-being?
In other news, the synopsis for episode 17 titled "Hahai i nÄ pilikua nui (Hunting Monsters)" hints the inevitable return of psychiatrist-slash-serial killer Dr. Gray (Elizabeth Röhm). This time, however, she may be showing a vulnerable side to her when she stumbles into Hawaii Police Department (HPD) covered in blood and claiming amnesia. Moreover, the blood on her matches that of former profiler and one-time Five-0 consultant Alicia (Claire Forlani). Could this be for real, or is this just a part of an elaborate mind game?
"Hawaii Five-0" airs on Fridays at 9 p.m. EST on CBS.
