Hatchimals sold out; where to find Hatchimals for Christmas 2016?
Hatchimals are the must-have toys for Christmas, but the demand for them has gone through the roof. However, if parents act fast enough, they might nab one in time.
Walmart will be restocking their shelves with Hatchimals up to Dec. 19. The company did not say anything about the limit per customer, but they did say there will be "dozens" available on each outlet.
There is no information on the exact date of the shipment delivery so parents are advised to call the Walmart outlets near them to know when the Hatchimals arrive.
Target recently restocked the Hatchimals toys as well, but considering the high demand for the toys, as a spokesperson for the company said, it is best to run to the closest Target outlet as soon as possible.
Toys 'R' Us is also regularly restocking up to Christmas, but parents will need to act fast as the retailer has already warned that the Hatchimals offerings they have quickly run out.
Unless buyers would like to shell out hundreds of dollars for one (one Hatchimal is priced at $48.88 on Walmart and $59.99 on Target), these two will be the only options in snagging one this year.
The next shipments for majority of retailers won't arrive until next year. Those who fail to secure one from Walmart or Target, but need one in time for the holidays have no other alternative but to purchase from resellers.
Knowing the demand for the Hatchimals toys, these resellers double and even triple the price for profit. An individual is selling on Craigslist Houston 28 of the toys that he horded for $125 each.
For those who are willing to wait, Hatchimals maker, Spin Master, will be restocking next year. "We recognize it may be difficult finding this in-demand toy," Spin Master chief marketing officer Nancy Zwiers told CNBC.
"We have increased production and a whole new batch of Hatchimals will be ready to hatch in early 2017," she went on to say.
