Though it has been three years since Rockstar Games released the current title in the "Grant Theft Auto" ("GTA") franchise, the video game developers are not yet willing to let go of this successful title just yet.

Reports say that "Grand Theft Auto 6" will not be coming anytime soon, since the developers still have a lot to explore in its present title. The success of its present title is reportedly holding the developers back from starting on the sixth installment.

"GTA 5" currently holds the title as the fastest selling video game. It's no surprise the developers are having a hard time of letting it go. To add, Rockstar earned $800 million on the first day of the game's release. They earned a massive total of $1 billion in the first three days.

Since Rockstar has kept mum about the upcoming title, fans of the franchise have come up with their own theories about the setting and the gameplay for the sequel.

Rumors claim there have been hints suggesting the following title is going to be set in the United States. On the other hand, various reports have also suggested that the game could take place in London. Meanwhile, there are also rumors that the game will take place in Tokyo, Japan.

Furthermore, the words "I Love VC" were reportedly embroidered on a towel on the beach in "GTA 5." VC stands for Vice City. The placement of the statement has led several fans to believe that the next title could also take place in this particular location.

If the developers haven't started on "GTA 6," gamers might find their answer a few years from now.

Since Rockstar Games has yet to comment on the recent reports, gamers should treat the latest updates as speculation until proven otherwise. Watch out for more updates on "GTA 6."
