'Grimm' season 6 episode 7 spoilers: Monroe's birthday celebration turns into a battle royale in 'Blind Love'

A birthday getaway turns awry when the festivities turn into a deadly rivalry in the next episode of "Grimm."

Wesens can more than just shape-shift and draw blood. Some of them have the ability to alter one's personality and perceptions. And sometimes, what may initially seem like an alteration is really just the uncovering of secretly held feelings. So, when Monroe's birthday getaway ends up turning long-time friends against each other, is it due to an alteration of personality or simply an amplification of true feelings?

Titled "Blind Love," the episode will feature Nick (David Giuntoli) being the target of a revenge plot that seems to curiously bleed into the psyche of the other members of his circle. The trailer reveals that Nick and Monroe (Silas Weir Mitchell), as well as Eve (Bitsie Tulloch) and Adalind (Claire Coffee), will be at each other's throat after what seems to be a love spell descends upon them.

Additionally, with Eve/Juliette confessing to Nick that she still feels something for him, will this episode be the end of the Nick–Adalind romance, or will it instead finally bring some form of closure for Nick and Juliette?

The episode will also feature Capt. Renard (Sasha Roiz) and his daughter, Diana (Hannah R. Loyd), spending a weekend together and facing an enemy of their own when a former ally of Renard's decides to get even. Could this be what actor Roiz was referring to in an earlier interview with TV Line, wherein he shared that Diana will be the target of "something possibly very dangerous?"

With the entire Scooby Gang out celebrating, will Renard's abilities be enough to protect his daughter, or will Diana instead prove to him, yet again, that she's more than capable to protect herself?

Additionally, since the previous episode seems to have put an end to Meisner's (Damien Puckler) visits, will it ever be revealed what he really was? Also, now that Renard has chosen not to side with Black Claw anymore, will he still be able to stand by this decision even at the risk of Diana's life?

"Grimm" season 6 episode 7 airs on Friday, Feb. 17, at 8 p.m. EST on NBC.
