"Grimm" is only four episodes away from ending, and the show's cast and crew are tight-lipped about the series finale. Even so, they promised that they would be answering all the big questions before the show bids farewell.

One of the biggest hanging issues in the show is the final confrontation between Nick Burkhardt (David Giuntoli) and Sean Renard (Sasha Ruiz), who is now the mayor of Portland. Their relationship has transitioned from the latter serving as the former's boss to being enemies, and to being uneasy allies.

In season 6, it seems they are back to being adversaries. Although the synopsis of episode 10, which will air on March 10, claims that Renard will try to strike a deal with Nick, it was already confirmed by Giuntoli in an interview with TV Insider that Renard will be the main villain in the last season of "Grimm." The former police captain was previously revealed to be power-hungry, and their clash may be caused by Nick's attempt to stop his former boss from taking over, especially since he is linked to Wesen syndicate Black Claw.

Renard may be tempered by his relationship with Diana (Hannah Lloyd), his daughter who he dotes on. However, it is also possible that he may use her to manipulate her mother, Adalind (Claire Coffee), who is Nick's ally.

The relationships of Nick, Adalind, and Juliette/Eve (Bitsie Tulloch) are also expected to be resolved when the series finale rolls in. While Nick and Adalind have a child together, his romantic history with Juliette/Eve is present. However, this romantic history has been tempered by the woman who possibly caused his mother's death.

Another factor that can make their potential reconciliation challenging is that Juliette/Eve continues to struggle with her identity, as well as her powers as a Hexenbiest. Episode 11, "Where the Wild Things Are," may shed light on her struggles. This will air on Friday, March 17, at 8 p.m. ET on NBC.

The magic stick that Nick found in the previous season can help him in the battle. In a TVLine interview with David Greenwalt, one of the showrunners of "Grimm," it was revealed that this will be significant in the storyline of season 6. This may indicate that the mystical stick not just for healing. This storyline may be explored further based on the synopsis of episode 12, "Zerstorer Shrugged," which will air on March 24.

On a happier note, the show may also feature Monroe (Silas Wier Mitchell) and Rosalee (Bree Turner)'s child, especially since the show's producers have said that there will be a time jump in the season finale. While no information has been leaked about the fate of Sergeant Wu, who is now showing Wesen-like liabilities, it is expected that his storyline will also be resolved before the show ends.

"We're leaving it in a good place," Greenwalt said in an interview with TVLine, adding, "Great sorrow and great hope, you know?" His words may indicate that the characters of "Grimm" will finally have their happy ending, much like the fairy tales the show were based on.

The season finale of "Grimm," titled "The End," will air on March 31.
