'Grey's Anatomy' season 13 episode 16 spoilers: Jackson and April confront their issues; is there hope for Owen and Amelia?
Jackson (Jesse Williams) and April (Sarah Drew) will be facing their issues with each other while on an assignment in Montana. Meanwhile, is there still hope for Owen (Kevin McKidd) and Amelia's (Caterina Scorsone) marriage?
On the next episode of "Grey's Anatomy" season 13, titled "Who is He (And What is He to You?)," Jackson and April will be having a lot of time alone while attending to a patient in Montana.
"Jackson and April travel to Montana in order to perform a complicated surgery on a young patient, but Jackson's mind is elsewhere, and April is forced to step up and get him back on track," the episode's listing on The Futon Critic reads.
Previously on "Grey's Anatomy" season 13, the couple have been in a lot of fights because of the issues caused by Catherine (Debbie Allen) bringing change to Grey Sloan, which includes April being head of general surgery for a short while.
April accused Jackson of not giving her enough credit and later on said that he is jealous of her work. Jackson might be reacting this way because Catherine favors April more than him, as seen from the past episodes of the show.
Hopefully, the two will confront each other with the issues surrounding them during their trip to Montana and come back to Grey Sloan with clean slates.
Meanwhile, Amelia still refuses to confront the issues in her marriage with Owen.
In an interview with E! News, McKidd shared that the couple is really going through a tough time and it's not looking good for them.
"It's a hard one because she's got all these demons. He does too. And now they've hit against this big issue of the baby. Owen has always imagined having a family, and now she seems to be changing her view on that," McKidd shared.
But the actor added, "I've got a feeling that Amelia's going to sort of come to Owen's rescue somehow," hinting that it might not be too late for "Owelia."
"Grey's Anatomy" season 13 airs every Thursday night at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
