Glee Season 6 Plot Spoilers: Santana to Get Engaged to Britt?

Although Glee Season 6 is already slated for a 2015 premiere, there is no official date yet. Executive producer Ryan Murphy has announced in past reports that the sixth season will be the last for the show, which will consist of 13 episodes.

The production has started filming last September 3, 2014 as revealed by co-executive producer Michael Hitchcock through a Tweet, along with a photo of an episode call sheet. That same day, Lea Michelle (who plays Rachel Berry) also posted a photo of herself on the set.

Meanwhile, a new tweet posted by Naya Rivera (who plays Santana Lopez) last October 6 sent fans ablaze in an iinstant. The tweet read, "Popping a very important question today at glee! ;-)." Everyone was suddenly talking about it and people couldn't help but assume that Naya was referring to Santana's marriage proposal for Britt (played by Heather Morris). This has not been confirmed (and we are guessing that we have to wait until the season premieres next year), but fans have their fingers crossed.

Glee will return with only nine of the main cast for its sixth season, which will include Chris Colfer, Darren Criss, Jane Lynch, Kevin McHale, Lea Michele, Matthew Morrison, Chord Overstreet, Amber Riley and Dot-Marie Jones, according to Wikipedia.

Wikipedia further reports that other former main cast are also returning this season, including Jenna Ushkowitz, Dianna Agron, Mark Salling, Jayma Mays, Naya Rivera, Heather Morris, Becca Tobin, Iqbal Theba, Max Adler, and Lauren Potter.

New characters to be introduced include a shy guy named Roderick, a football player named Spencer, an ambitious girl named Jane and cheerleaders (and twins) Mason and Madison.
