"Girl Meets World" may have ended its three-year run on its home network, but fans and the series creator himself are still holding out for a renewal of sorts for the show. But while the show's fate hangs in the balance, its main stars' careers continue to thrive.

On Friday, Feb. 10, Teen Vogue spotted fifteen-year-old actress Rowan Blanchard, who plays the titular girl Riley Matthews, at the Milly Fall/Winter 2017 show during the New York Fashion Week. And even though the budding fashion icon was not there to walk the runway, she was in the front row dressed in Milly from head to toe.

Speaking about her preference for the brand, Blanchard told The Hollywood Reporter in an interview during the show that Milly's fashion strikes a very careful balance between being young and being mature that works really well for her. She is indeed a girl who knows what she wants, and she is very vocal about her thoughts and beliefs.

"It can be difficult to find the line between living in a bubble and being out in the world, while still pursuing what you want to do creatively. I'm trying to find that now," Blanchard said.

Meanwhile, Sabrina Carpenter, who plays Riley's best friend, Maya Hart, has just released the music video for her single, "Thumbs," and fans could not help but compare the setting used on the said video with the one that was previously used on "Girl Meets World."

An article on Seventeen listed the similarities between the two sets with photos from the music video and some choice scenes from the show. While this may seem like wishful thinking for some, the most minute similarities can indeed remind fans of some of the highlights of their beloved show. Is it mere coincidence, or has Carpenter chosen this particular setting as a nod to her show?

While there are no new updates regarding the current status of "Girl Meets World," fans continue to draw hope from series co-creator Michael Jacobs' interview with The Wrap last month, wherein he said, "We are certainly having discussions, there are some interested platforms."

Here's hoping that a network will decide to pick up the show soon and breathe new life to the onscreen adventures and misadventures of best friends Riley and Maya.
