'Girl Meets World' season 3 spoilers, season 4: Riley's uncle runs for president; 'Selfish' Riley runs away from home?

Eric Matthews (Will Friedle) officially sets his sights on a seat in the White House. In an upcoming "Girl Meets World" season 3 episode, the loving uncle and senator will make his bid.

To make his candidacy formal, Eric made a video calling for America to vote for him. He explained that he is late to the party because "I didn't know there was an election happening."

The "Girl Meets World" season 3 clip shows Eric's bold and death-defying declaration to be the next president of the United States, as he gets hit in the crotch by a baseball and seemingly loses his hand in the process.

There is no word if this will be featured in "Girl Meets World" season 3. It may simply be the show's acknowledgement of the nearing United States presidential election.

The "Girl Meets World" writers took to Twitter to show their support, tweeting "Eric Matthews is running for president. We're saved. [Stranger] together [make] America grape again [his] running mate is WHO??"

The writers also teased what fans can expect in "Girl Meets World" season 3 next month when it returns after its three-week hiatus that followed its Halloween special, "Girl Meets World of Terror 3."

"Two mothers cause two teenage girls hurt, pain and humiliation just because Riley is selfish and Maya kidnaps a movie star," the writers tweeted.

"Girl Meets World" season 3 will return with an episode titled "Girl Meets Her Monster." The preview for the installment shows Riley (Rowan Blanchard) and Maya (Sabrina Carpenter) obsessing over binge-watching.

The BFFs stay up late at night to watch nonstop and Topanga (Danielle Fishel) is in not in the least bit happy about it at all, leading the Matthews matriarch to discipline them.

However, Riley believes that her mother crossed a line, declaring that she can no longer live with Topanga's rules and suggesting that she is leaving the house.

This "Girl Meets World" season 3 will surely come with an important lesson and could be moving as well.

"Girl Meets World" season 3 will be back with episode 16 "Girl Meets Her Monster" on Friday, Nov. 4 at 8:30 p.m. EDT on Disney Channel.
