'Girl Meets World' season 3 spoilers: Maya schemes to get her mother a role in a film

On the 17^{th episode of the popular coming-of-age-series "Girl Meets World" season 3, Maya (Sabrina Carpenter) will be contemplating on doing something out of the ordinary, just so a loved one can reap the benefits of her wrongdoing.}

In the upcoming episode titled "Girl Meets Hollyworld," Maya schemes to get her mother a role in an upcoming film. In order for her to secure a part for her mother, she intends to sabotage another actress' audition. Driven by her desire to help her mother, Maya will be unaware of the consequences that lie ahead.

A trailer for the 17^{th episode showed that Riley (Rowan Blanchard) and her friends' lives will be turned into a movie. As revealed in the teaser, the casting director has allowed Riley's class to be part of the film, given that they audition and get accepted for the role. Most of the class auditioned for the film, and it seems like a good number of them have been rejected, including Riley.}

The clip showed that Riley wanted to portray a character named Smiley, but was immediately shot down. The casting director told her that she isn't fit to play the part.

The third season of "Girl Meets World" is almost done, and fans of the show are waiting for Disney Channel to announce a season 4 renewal. The lack of an announcement is making anxious viewers believe that the current season is the last.

Since Disney has yet to confirm the renewal of the show, the cast are expected to do other projects within that time. Rowan Blanchard, who portrays Riley Matthews in the Disney show, was recently cast in the latest adaptation of Madeleine L'Engle's classic novel "A Wrinkle in Time."

"Girl Meets World" season 3 episode 17 will premiere on Friday, Nov. 25, at 8:30 p.m. EST on Disney Channel.
