Early last week, rumors that veteran actress Angela Lansbury has joined "Game of Thrones" season 7 hit the internet. However, just as quickly as the news spread, the actress' representatives debunked the rumors.

In a recent report, Entertainment Weekly clarified rumors that the "Murder, She Wrote" star will be displaying her acting chops on the HBO hit series. Apparently, Lansbury's representatives have gotten in touch with the outlet and confirmed that no, the actress is not, in any way, going to be part of the upcoming season of the series.

What is confirmed is that 67-year-old Academy Award winner Jim Broadbent will be part of "Game of Thrones" season 7. Fans will remember him as Bridget Jones' dad and as Horace Slughorn in the "Harry Potter" movies. He is the first new actor to be cast for the upcoming installment of "Game of Thrones," although until now, the character he will be playing remains a mystery.

Meanwhile, The Independent reports that two new juicy spoilers emerged from the set of "Game of Thrones" season 7. The spoilers are more than just theories concerning the filming locations or release date of season 7. Apparently, the spoilers tease what will happen as soon as the new season of the series opens.

The first spoiler hints that King Euron Greyjoy (Pilou Asbæk) will team up with Cersei Lannister (Lena Headey), and according to Watchers on the Wall (WOTW), the pairing makes sense as both as cast as the series' baddies.

"It looks like a big year is in the works for Euron–we hear that he and Queen Cersei are teaming up in season 7. We've also heard that Euron will take out at least one of the Sand Snakes," says the post by WOTW.

As for the second spoiler, Yara (Gemma Whelan) and Theon Greyjoy (Alfie Allen) will purportedly fight Euron at sea and then split up.

""Game of Thrones' filming this week centered around Yara and Theon Greyjoy engaging in battle at sea. It appears that their uncle Euron is catching up to the siblings and will capture one of them," continues the report by WOTW.

Those sound like pretty intense spoilers for the upcoming season of "Game of Thrones." Incidentally, season 7 will only consist of seven episodes, as opposed to the usual 10.

"Game of Thrones" season 7 is expected to premiere summer 2017. In the meantime, check out this in-production tease for the upcoming season.
