Lyanna Mormont (Bella Ramsey), one of the fiercest characters in HBO's "Game of Thrones," was recently spotted on the set of the award-winning fantasy drama.

In the show's sixth season, the courageous young leader of Bear Island played a critical role in convincing the other Northern lords to pledge allegiance to Jon Snow (Kit Harington), Westeros' new King in the North.

Earlier, she was one of the first few Northern leaders to join forces with Jon and Sansa Stark (Sophie Turner) in their bid to retake Winterfell from the psychopathic Ramsay Bolton (Iwan Rheon).

The character's strength and determination in a world populated by gruff old men thrice her size endeared Lyanna to viewers, making her an instant fan favorite.

Fortunately, Lyanna's role apparently doesn't end with the rousing speech she made in the show's season 6 finale. Photos from the "Game of Thrones" season 7 set in Northern Ireland revealed Ramsey exiting her trailer in full Lyanna costume.

According to Screen Rant, at the time the photos were taken, Harington and fellow "Game of Thrones" cast members Liam Cunningham and Gwendoline Christie were also spotted in the area.

Meanwhile, though the upcoming season 7 will be a shortened one, the cast of "Game of Thrones" is continuing to grow. Watchers on the Wall reported that two new actors have been cast in roles for season 7.

"Dickensian" actor Joseph Quinn plays a character called Koner while "Penny Dreadful" actor Paul Ward takes on an undisclosed role. The fan blog noted that Koner does not exist in the "A Song of Ice and Fire" novel series on which "Game of Thrones" is based. Nonetheless, the people behind "Game of Thrones" have frequently written in all-new characters just for the show.

The upcoming "Game of Thrones" season 7 is expected to reveal major showdowns. Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke) sets sail for King's Landing, where she, her dragons, and her massive army will take on Cersei's (Lena Headey) forces. Meanwhile, up North, Jon and his army will be going head-to-head with the White Walkers.

"Game of Thrones" season 7 debuts on HBO in 2017.
