The Baratheons have one more contender for the throne.

Fans of "Game of Thrones," the TV adaptation of George R.R. Martin's "A Song of Ice and Fire" book series, have yet to find out the rest of the story of Gendry (Joe Dempsie), the bastard son of the late King Robert Baratheon (Mark Addy). But viewers will finally discover what Gendry has been doing all this time as he is set to appear in season 7 of HBO's "Game of Thrones."

According to reports, Dempsie has been spotted on the set of season 7. More importantly, the recent leaks unveiled important spoilers for the upcoming season. The bastard son of the former king will be part of a scene involving Ser Davos (Liam Cunningham) and Tyrion (Peter Dinklage). Gendry was seen in Spain along with the aforementioned actors filming for a scene in which they set sail from Dragonstone.

In this particular scene, Ser Davos and Gendry are preparing their rowboat when a pair of gold cloaks approach them. Initially, they are able to divert the soldiers' suspicion. However, when Tyrion joins both of them, the soldiers grow even more suspicious of the group.

To note, Tyrion is being hunted down by his sister, Queen Cersei (Lena Headey), for killing their father and for being associated with the murder of her firstborn son.

When Ser Davos attempts to convince the guards, Gendry brings out his weapons and knocks both soldiers out. The character seemed to be wielding Robert's warhammer, the weapon he used to kill Prince Rhaegar. For the uninitiated, Rhaegar is the older brother of Daenerys (Emilia Clarke). He is also rumored to be the father of Jon Snow (Kit Harington).

As previously reported, there have been rumors suggesting that the late Prince will appear in the following season to confirm Jon's true parentage and birthright.

The seventh season of "Game of Thrones" is expected to launch in the summer of 2017.
