'Game of Thrones' Season 5 Spoilers: Filming In Ireland and Spain Gets Fans Excited
It's 2015 and the question is: Is it time for the "Game of Thrones" to come back on air again? It's only been seven months since the end of Season 4, but fans cannot wait to get any news at all about its comeback.
Reports say the production has begun for Season 5, and early scenes were shot at Binevenagh Mountain in Ireland. Fans were excited, but the interest really began when we all found out that "Game of Throes" will be shooting in Seville, Spain. If you are a fan, you know what this could mean: Dorne.
The cast will include the daughters of Prince Oberyn Martell, Jessica Henwick, Keisha Castle Hughes and Rosabelli Laurenti Sellers. Toby Sebastian will be playing the role of Trystane Martell, with his brother to be played by Alexander Siddig. Both are sons of Prince Doran Martell, who is also the Prince of Dorne.
Cersei is one of those characters that have been thoroughly spoiled especially for non-book readers. We remember her being a dominant character in Season 4. In case you missed all the spoilers, she will again appear in the upcoming season in her royal birthday suit as she is forced to do a "walk of shame." The spoiler was revealed due to the fact that the Croatian Church of St. Nicolas protested against the scene, which involved nudity, to be shot in front of a church.
As for the plot, "Game of Thrones" Season 5 may put together not only the fourth and fifth books but other storylines as well.
When asked whether the production team will be incorporating "The Winds of Winter" in the upcoming season, showrunners Benioff and Weiss were non-committal with their answer, but appeared to be hinting at "yes."
