"Five Nights At Freddy's: Sister Location" has just been made available but developer Scott Cawthon already has downloadable content (DLC) plans in place.

Cawthon has announced the release of a "Custom Night" expansion pack "coming soon." In a post on Steam, he said that he is targeting a launch by the end of the year.

"It would have been awesome to have this ready for Halloween, but there's no way that will be possible. Be looking for this in December," Cawthon wrote.

The reveal of the "Five Nights At Freddy's: Sister Location" DLC came with an artwork featuring Bidybab and Funtime Freddy's Bonnie, who might be heavily involved in this update.

The "Custom Night" DLC will be available for free, but players have to put some work into it to unlock it as it requires three stars to be accessible.

With regards to what the "Five Nights At Freddy's: Sister Location" DLC is all about, details are a bit scarce at the moment, but Cawthon teased that it "may add to the game's story."

He emphasized that whatever that is included in this DLC will not be considered canon. "Otherwise it would screw up the entire plotline!" he warned.

A "Custom Night" DLC is not new to the "Five Nights At Freddy's: Sister Location" franchise. Such expansion has been released in previous iterations of the indie survival horror point-and-click video game.

The past versions gave fans the chance to choose the level of difficulty for each animatronic. The idea is to set the levels to maximum.

Getting out of it alive will reward players with more details on the story. This might be the case for this "Five Nights At Freddy's: Sister Location" DLC as well.

"Since it's not part of the game's 'Story Mode,' you will be able to jump right into the action from the Extras menu and restart as many times as you like," Cawthon said.
