Family Guy Season 13 Premiere Date: Simpsons Cross-Over in Special Episode
Family Guy Season 13 is soon to come out on the big screen and fans are expecting something big!
You guessed it right: The long anticipated cross-over is finally happening this upcoming season, where the Griffins will meet the Simpsons. This is all happening on September 28!
For fans, this is a dream true; but it doesn't end there. A special cameo will be seen from another loveable animated character Bob from Bob's Burgers.
Created by professional cartoonist Matt Groening, The Simpsons started airing 25 years ago. Family Guy, on the other hand, started 13 years ago and was created by Seth McFarlane, who is admittedly a Simpsons fan.
The Simpsons was originally made for "intelligent" kids and their "humanist parents". The plots are often silly yet also funny. Family Guy, on the other hand, is a show for cynical seniors and boys in their teens. It is funny, but many people find it disturbing as it features several disturbing sexual matters.
Appearing in one show has never happened before so this the very first collaboration of Family Guy Season 13.
Fox has officially released a five-minute promo of the first episode that features Peter and Homer. Since the official announcement of the crossover, both characers have issued statements in the promos.
"FOX hasn't spent this much money since they took Simon Cowell tight T-shirt shopping," said Peter.
"Finally, I can get my hands on this guy!" said Homer.
Meanwhile, fans are also thrilled about another crossover with Futurama, which will be aired in November.
