'Fallout 4' DLC rumors update: New leak hints another expansion coming after 'Nuka World'

Although Bethesda Game Studios has already pointed out that the "Nuka World" expansion will be the last downloadable content (DLC) for "Fallout 4," rumor has it that a new DLC will be released.

Reddit user HarraReeves directed gamers to the Steam Database page of the game, where a DLC was added five days ago (at the time of writing).

Identified only as "SteamDB," the supposed "Fallout 4" expansion was filed under the DLC category of the page and sits just above "Nuka World."

Some Reddit users speculated that this mysterious listing has something to do with possible Virtual Reality (VR) support for the game.

It is unlikely that a new "Fallout 4" DLC will be released especially with Bethesda vice president for public relations and marketing Pete Hines emphasizing "Nuka World" as the game's final DLC.

However, some gamers are of the opinion that the developer changed its mind as it is no secret that not many fans were happy about the post-launch content released to "Fallout 4."

So far, what is only confirmed to be released to the game after "Nuka World" is the PlayStation mods feature, which fans have been waiting to be released since June.

Sony decided against releasing the mods to the "Fallout 4" PS4 "the way they should work," but Bethesda vowed to find ways to still make the release happen.

However, the "Skyrim Special Edition" will be the first to get the feature. "After the work is complete on Skyrim, we'll be updating Fallout 4 for both mods and PS4 Pro," Bethesda wrote on its blog.

"We expect Fallout 4 to take advantage of the PS4 Pro in 4k along with enhanced lighting and graphics features," the company continued.

With regards to the purported new DLC coming to "Fallout 4," Bethesda is yet to make any comment about it so fans will just have to take this leak with a pinch of salt.
