'Fairy Tail' manga chapter 500 spoilers news 2016: Natsu and Gray show off guild's true powers; Invel exposes E.N.D.'s identity

"Fairy Tail" has just reached a milestone with the release of its 500th chapter, but with Invel's sudden revelation at the end, things are bound to get complicated from here on out.

"Fairy Tail" chapter 500 opened with Brandish telling Natsu, Lucy, and Happy that although she felt indebted to the three of them, she could not betray her homeland for their sake. The best thing she could do at this point was to spare them, but she would not be extending the same favor to their friends. This upset her fellow Spriggan 12, Dimaria who was watching the exchange from afar.

Natsu told Brandish that her crew did not have any idea at all about the extent of the Fairy Tail Guild's powers. Sure enough, he demonstrated this by knocking an enchanted Neinhart out with a single, wrathful punch.

Meanwhile, a vengeful Gray unleashed immeasurable amounts of icy devil-slayer magic on Invel, and like Natsu, he broke through the Winter General's presumably impenetrable ice armor with one solid punch. Gray was so blinded by his anger over his beloved Juvia's death, but his rage quickly dissolved into shock when Invel revealed that the E.N.D. that Gray was supposed to defeat was none other than his friend, Natsu.

Unbeknownst to him, Wendy and Charle found Juvia just in time to save her life.

According to spoiler reports, "Fairy Tail" chapter 501 titled, "Mari and Randi" may find Spriggan 12's elite members, Dimaria and Brandish at odds with each other over Brandish's decision to spare Natsu, Lucy, and Happy. Dimaria may take this as a betrayal and an intense fight could ensue between them, which may or may not lead to Brandish finally siding with Natsu's team. Fans are also hoping that the next chapters will also reveal the connection between Eileen and Erza.

The landmark "Fairy Tail chapter 500 features a special cover filled with the creator, Hiro Mashima's gratitude, a full-colored opening page, and 31 pages of pure magic and mayhem as Natsu and Gray show the Spriggan 12 what they are really made of.

"Fairy Tail" chapter 501 is expected to be released on Sept. 14 on the "Weekly Shounen Jump" magazine.
