The upcoming fighting video game from Bandai Namco, "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2," will be featuring a lot of new gameplay contents that are not present in the previous game title. One of the interesting additions to the "Dragon Ball Xenoverse" gameplay is the Expert Missions mode, wherein the players are allowed to team up to accomplish certain missions, and possibly working as a group to defeat a powerful enemy.

Just a few weeks before the release of "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2," Bandai Namco released a gameplay tutorial that focuses on showing the fans how the new co-op battles work in the sequel. At one point, the actual gameplay footage from Expert Missions is shown, as the players request for aid of the other Time Patrollers to fight the powerful enemies, iTech Post reported.

Specifically, the video tutorial shows a team of players facing the ferocious Giant Ape, Nappa. It is shown that the Great Ape has the ability to launch a special move called the Brainwash Attack, and the player in front of this enemy must be careful not to get hit by this attack. This special attack removes the player instantly from the battle as he will be transported to the World of Mind Control and pitted against his clone. The only way the player can go back to help his allies is to defeat his evil clone in the alternate world.

With proper coordination with fellow fighters, the team can avoid one of its members being hit by the Great Ape's Brainwash Attack. The tutorial also shows how important it is to team up with other Tim Controllers in a co-op battle, as it is more likely to beat even the strongest opponent around.

On the other hand, fans will have the chance to experience the game two weeks before the expected release of "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2." According to Game N Guide, Bandai Namco announced that there will be open and closed beta versions in the coming weeks. The beta will only be exclusive on the PlayStation console. From Oct. 8 to 10, the closed beta will be available to players who already pre-ordered the game. All PlayStation players can access the open beta starting on Oct. 14.
