According to Reggie Jackson, the Detroit Pistons may not have a ceiling this year, and that is certainly good news for the Eastern Conference franchise.

The Detroit Free Press reported that Jackson believes the team can simply go as far as they want to as they have grown together and even added a few pieces that can make them difficult to beat in the Eastern Conference.

At 26-years-old, Jackson is undoubtedly one of the leaders of the team and has only good things to say about his teammates and the situation of the franchise as the off-seaosn continues.

Talking to Rick Mahorn and Tom Bryne on SiriusXM NBA Radio, Jackson shared his thoughts on the team, saying: "I don't believe there necessarily is a ceiling. We can go as far as we want. But it's really going to come from internal growth as a team. Not just in skills but mentally, as well, and being ready for the burden of the season."

Jackson was quick to say that they needed to stay focused on the season and know that it will be a long year for them, so conditioning their heads to finish what they started should always be the factor.

He also mentioned that the team should always look after each other and that teammates should keep other teammates in check if they are veering away from the goal.

Jackson is steadily improving, averaging 18.8 points and 6.2 assists per game in the 2015-16 season.

The addition of new players, like big men Jon Leuer and Boban Marjanovic, should also help in their depth as they try to challenge the better teams in the East.

Jackson believes that the team they have now will remain hungry since they experienced the playoffs and will want to push further later on in the campaign.

"Once you get a taste of (the playoffs), you want more," he said and added: "I know going into the playoffs last year, myself, I was the only starter who had been in the playoffs. And just seeing the expressions of the guys throughout being there, seeing how they handled the playoffs, even though it was a short, four-game stretch, I think we were ready."

Jackson further claimed that they have gathered a lot from the experience and that the expression in the eyes of everyone in the team is an indication of them wanting more.
