Did "Descendants of the Sun" male lead star Song Joong-ki just reveal the real status of his relationship with on-screen partner Song Hye-kyo?

Although Song Hye-kyo was visibly absent during the Seoul International Drama Awards 2016 held last Sept. 8, her on-screen partner and rumored real-life boyfriend Song Joong-ki was there to represent the Korean war drama that took the world by storm. Apparently, Song Hye-kyo sent him coffee while he filmed, but he corrected the news.

"She not only sent a coffee truck, she sent a snack truck too. She's the best partner," he said.

Fans were left wondering whether Song Joong-ki's remark was an admission that he and Song Hye-kyo are involved in a real-life relationship.

News about their purported romance started swirling after "Descendants of the Sun" ended in April, but neither of the actors has confirmed nor denied the news.
