Denver Broncos trade rumors 2016: Quarterback chaos may lead to Vick signing
After winning the Super Bowl last year, it seems that there is trouble in the Denver Broncos as they are looking unsettled in the quarterback department.
Last year saw veterans like Peyton Manning and Brock Osweiler lead the team to lift the crown, but at the moment, they are hoping to find an answer so that they could still have the same type of leadership.
Manning retired, Osweiler moved on to the Houston Texans, and now, the Broncos are left with Mark Sanchez, Paxton Lynch, and Trevor Siemian.
Initially, it was thought that Sanchez would be the primary quarterback of the team given that he has the most experience among the three who are available, and he was traded from the Philadelphia Eagles in the hopes that the team could land a solid quarterback.
Unfortunately, rumors have circulated that suggest Sanchez may also be at risk of losing his spot to the other two quarterbacks. It is reported that the Broncos are not likely to let go of Lynch who they drafted as he is being molded as the future of the franchise.
On the other hand, Siemian appears to be the choice at the moment as he will start in the pre-season game against the Los Angeles Rams. It is also rumored to be the choice in the Broncos' season opener against the Carolina Panthers.
It does look like a messy situation, which has resulted in new rumors, and the Gospel Herald reported that the Broncos may be considering bringing in Michael Vick in the lineup.
An undoubted veteran, Vick is now simply looking for a team that he could play in, and he wants a contender to be able to push to a title.
With other strong teams like the New England Patriots, Seattle Seahawks and Carolina Panthers already equipped with world-class quarterbacks, it appears that the Broncos may be the best place for him to go to.
If this were to push through, one of the other quarterbacks currently with the Broncos may see his way out, and Denver will hope that their gamble for Vick works out.
