'Dance Moms' season 6, season 7 rumors: Abby Lee Miller losing ALDC?
The events in the recent episode of "Dance Moms" season 6 had many thinking that dance instructor Abby Lee Miller will lose her studio.
In the previous episode of the show, Miller received a phone call from Debbie Allen about the status of Abby Lee Dance Company (ALDC), in light of the lawsuits she is facing.
The possibility of Allen taking over for Miller was brought about and the dance coach was visibly freaked out at what can happen. However, she chose to keep it from the girls and the mothers as well.
For the next episode, airing today, Nov. 1, Lifetime teases "a chain of events could lead to a big rift between [Miller], the mothers and the elite girls."
It is unclear if it has something to do with Miller's hold of the studio although the involvement of the elite girls suggests that this issue is something else entirely.
The moms, however, have shown their desire for Allen to manage the studio and not Miller, who they believe is more troubled with her court issues than she shows.
However, the fact that production for "Dance Moms" season 7 is already ongoing with Miller very much involved with the studio makes it appear that she is still in good terms.
The cast and crew are already approaching the filming for the ninth episode this season, and it appears that Miller is still managing the ALDC. Her Instagram account shows photos from competitions her girls are joining and winning.
With regards to her lawsuits, the case was once again delayed back in September. The sentencing was moved to Dec. 2. Miller is facing a fine of $5 million and possible jail time of up to five years. However, Miller's counsel is working on reducing the sentence.
"Dance Moms" season 7 will premiere next year. "Dance Moms" season 6 will be back with a new episode today on Lifetime.
