'D4: Dark Dream's Don't Die' PC Release Date: Xbox One Game Set to Get PC Version
Launched exclusively on the Xbox One last year, the game "D4: Dark Dreams Don't Die" will soon be coming to PC, game developer Hidetaka Suehiro, aka Swery, announced recently via Twitter.
Unlike last year's version of the game which was controlled by the Kinect on the Xbox One, the upcoming PC version could be played with a mouse, Suehiro said.
Last year "D4: Dark Dreams Don't Die" allowed players to control the time-travelling detective David Young as he tried to solve the murder of his wife. It heavily relied on gesture controls available on the Kinect controller although the game could also be played with a standard controller for the Xbox One.
The game has two episodes on the Xbox One. It is expected that both will come to the PC along with forthcomingh episodes.
Using the Kinect controller of the Xbox One is the preferred method to play the game. It allows Detective Young to be guided using voice prompts and hand movements. In the game, Young is able to travel through various periods of time using mementos and other objects and witness specific events tied to the murder of his wife.
The news of "D4: Dark Dreams Don't Die" coming to PC was greeted with enthusiasm by fans. However, no additional details were provided, including whether it would come to Steam which has been an oft-repeated request addressed to Swery.
