CW Superheroes crossover news, teaser: DC superheroes team up to fight alien threat
In a few weeks, fans of the DC Comic superheroes on The CW will witness four groups come together to form one kick-ass alliance against an overwhelming foreign threat. For four nights, viewers will see a four-way crossover between "Supergirl," "The Flash," "Arrow" and "Legends of Tomorrow."
The latest trailer for the four-way crossover showed Kara aka Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) meeting her fellow superheroes for the first time. Like the rest of the DC fans, Felicity Smoak (Emily Bett Rickards) seemed very excited about the upcoming team-up.
As revealed in the trailer, the DC superheroes will band together to form a united alliance against aliens threatening the planet. The team will go against a technologically advanced alien race called the Dominators, who intend to defeat the metahuman forces that pose a threat to their ambitions.
In the crossover episodes, viewers will see a bunch of familiar faces from the four different shows. From "Arrow," Stephen Amell (Oliver Queen aka Arrow), David Ramsey (Diggle/Spartan), Willa Holland (Thea Queen/Speedy) and Emily Bett Rickards (Felicity Smoak) are going to be seen.
From "The Flash," Grant Gustin (Barry Allen aka The Flash), Candice Patton (Iris West), Tom Cavanagh (H.R. Wells), Danielle Panabaker (Dr. Caitlin Snow), and Carlos Valdes (Cisco/Vibe) are expected to appear on the show.
From "Legends of Tomorrow," Brandon Routh (Ray Palmer aka The Atom), Caity Lotz (Sara Lance aka White Canary), Dominic Purcell (Mick Rory aka Heat Wave), Franz Drameh (Jax, one half of Firestorm), Victor Garber (Dr. Martin Stein, the other half of Firestorm) will also be joining the team.
From "Supergirl," it seems like the titular character herself will be the sole representative for the show.
Viewers can catch the four-night superhero crossover when it starts with "Supergirl" this Monday, Nov. 28, at 8 p.m. EST on The CW.
